For your consideration, I present the fairly average A03 mobile phone. I don't mean to say that this phone is actually of poor quality. Actually what I meant is that this phone is better off for a person that likes good looks, low price, and doesn't care if it is full of cutting edge tech. That being said, if your expectations aren't too high, then this phone will definitely suffice.
As for specs, the A03 boasts:
The phone is GSM quad band unlocked.
Dual SIM ports are built into the phone with dual standby also available.
The phone's construction is Polycarbonate plastic.
The display screen measures a largish 3.0 inches, displays at 240x320 resolution, and is TFT.
Weigh for the model is 105 gm.
Total measurements for the phone are L114xW53xH11mm (length x width x height).
The internet is accessible only by GPRS and WAP 2.0.
It comes ready for Bluetooth pairing using headset, handsfree, and A2DP profiles.
The phone is touchscreen only, but includes a virtual QWERTY keyboard for fast typing.
The battery life for standard use will net about 50 to 70 hours.
Adding apps comes by way of the built in java platform.
Extra media is provided from the MP3/ MP4 player, a camera/camcorder combo, an eBook reader, an analog TV, and a FM radio.
After playing with the A03, my thoughts on the pros and cons include:
Pros
The screen is large and very colorful.
It looks a lot more expensive than it really is.
The java platform worked as advertised, and I was playing games in no time.
Cons
As is typical for these kinds of phones, the internet would be a bit of a pain to set up if you didn't know what were doing.
It would have been nice if some java apps had been installed right out of the box.
Overall, I would say the A03 should be able to please people based on its looks and price, but if they are looking for many features, then it will be a bit harder to do.
Price. US$82.40
